Up until a couple of years ago, I dealt with fear. I don't think I thought about being afraid on a regular basis but it came out in my decisions and actions.
There were so many things I really wanted to do in life. Both in day to day and in my life dreams, but something always held me back.
Sometimes it was the fear of what others would think. Other times it was the fear that I wouldn't be good enough. Mostly it was the fear of being embarrassed.
Whatever fear I was experiencing, it was always the thing that was between me and my goals.
It left me feeling frustrated and unfulfilled. I knew my potential was greater than my fears but I didn't know what to do to overcome it... Until my Junior year of college.
That's when I met the man who would eventually become my husband and he was so opposite of me. He feared nothing and went after all his dreams.
Being around him forced me to face some of my fears and eventually led me to start searching for a way to overcome the ones that were holding me back in life.
From my searching, I created a framework to help me work through my fears and make baby steps towards my goals and dreams in life.
Over the years, this framework has widened my "comfort zone" and given me a freedom in life I never thought possible.
